A short introduction of Chahrmahal and Bakhteiry Province
This province is one of the elevated lands of
Land reduction that caused by the flow of the great rivers and the movement of the layers of Zagros and flows that caused by the melting of the heavy snows have created many ponds, lakes, falls, springs and caves which caused to grow various kinds of vast pastures and different types of plants like: oak, wild plum and other leaves plants and also different types of animals and sanctuaries for them.
Despite of having these natural sceneries, beautiful whirlpools are the other fantastic places for travelers and tourists to come and visit in this province
Chahar Mahal and Bakhteiarys survey is about 16533 km2 .The center of this province is Shar-e-Kord and its distance from Tehran is about 520 km, the height of this city is about2150 km and among the other cities of Iran it is the most elevated one and because of this reason it is called “The Roof Of Iran” and the most famous and the highest mountain Zardkooh which its highest peak is Koloonchi is located in this city
Having so many icebergs and because of their special formation, these mountains attracted great attention of mountain climbers of the country that can climb to the peaks during the seasons of the year. This province consists of six districts that are: Shar-e-Kord, Borujen, Farsan, Lordegan, Ardal and Koohrang. Although in villages people speak native languages similar to Farsi but people of the province mostly speak Farsi and in some cities such as Saman and Ben people speak Turkish.Bakhtiyari accent that is one of the branches of Pahlavi or Middle Farsi and also it is treasure of sarreh (pure) terms is spoken by Bakhtiyare people
This accent and its sweet pronunciation is still untouched. The most ancient historical centers of human settlement of the first man in the province date back to 7th millennium B.C. The remains which have been dug in the feilds of Lordegan, Khanmirza and Felard in cities as Lordegan, Boldajee and Shahr-e-Kord show that the region has been the settlement of tribal and rural population.
Bakhtiyari tribes were one of the first division of iranian aria people whose ancestors tried to find suitable pastures in this region so they emigrated from the lands of north Asia and came to the sides of two important rivers karoon river which flow away to khoozestan and zayandeh-rood river flowing from zardkooh.
Research on the course of life of the famous people in the area of literature of this territory including (Dehqan, Omman Samani, Hoseein pejman Bakhtiyari, Darabafsar Bakhtiyari, etc.) and Bakhtiyari local poems can be considered as one of the cultural attractions of the province by the people who are concerned
